Just like babies, our fur kids experience discomfort during the teething process. Nylabone's Puppy Chew Bone is made with soft, puppy-friendly material to satisfy teething pups. This bone is designed to encourage positive play and teach your puppy healthy chewing habits from an early age. With delicious chicken flavor throughout, your puppy will have an enjoyable chewing experience that soothes their gums and delights their taste buds. Plus, it helps clean teeth and prevent tartar buildup for dental health from the start. This puppy chew bone is not for powerful chewers. Add this veterinarian-recommended chew to your collection of puppy toys for a calmer, and more comfortable pup!

A chew toy lasting over 6 mo. is generally very good, for this breed & this brand! I kept it in her cage at night, so she wouldn't get board & start chewing on her paws. BC I felt it was a safe toy to use in this manner. "It was safe for my teething Bulldog." "Much, much better than other chew toys from this brand!" Others such as the Orange Pretzel they absolutely love! However, they have always splintered into very sharp edges of plastic, which cause the dogs mouth's to bleed (pokes their gums) & then NEED THROWN AWAY! This Key Chain Chew Toy was "really good" compared to other Nylabone brand chew toys, I have purchased! My girls mouth did not bleed from chewing on it:) "So, I am very pleased with this teething ring!" & would buy it again! Notice how the plastic splinters on the ends? Once the toy gets to his point I feel it is definitely time to be replaced! I would recommend this chew toy for a teething med. sized dog! The one I purchased was fairly large. & stayed together safely:) This is the only Nylabone Chew Toy I would ever, leave in a crate at night, thus far! Good Job Nylabone!Purchased for my boxer puppy, but my adult boxer steals it all the time and it has held up well.My 2 year old rescue loves this bone and only this bone. I buy her one every month. We’ll worth my furniture not getting chewed up. I by every month. Try it!Puppy loves, they are chewy but indestructible. Excellent for teething. My Dog went crazy over this bone and it really helps whit her puppy teethingMy new puppy chews on anything and everything. I bought these and didn't realize how heavy they were. No worries to her! I'm not sure which of them weighs more (she's just 1.5 lbs) but she carries/drags these around. Chews and Chews on them. Just bought another one to put in her crate too. This had been a saving grace for our baby beabull. He had been chewing everything and nothing kept his attention until we got this Nylabone. It had lasted really well too!I have a 9lb 8 yr old chihuahua/yorkie/schnauzer mix and he loves chewing on these. Takes him about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks to destroy it but sure entertains him.My 13 week old Cockapoo chewed off the end of the bone in 20 minutes! I’m so glad I checked on him as he would have eaten half of it! Not recommended for teething puppies. Just waiting for him to vomit it up now!Great chew bone for teething puppy. My puppy loves letting off some chewing frustration with this toy. We have a few now with different textures. Whenever he gets a bit bitey we pop this in his mouth and he chews away. The kids have been taught to offer it to the pup as well and as a result we have had no issues with biting or chewing furniture etc.My dog has had it only a couple of days and he has already chewed large bits off ( he is only a miniature dachshund puppy! Not exactly a huge dog that will distruct things easily!) I have just been up with him all through the night while he's been throwing up pieces of these keys and shivering away. Even supervising him with it he still managed to eat bits without me knowing. Just the fact that I was able to cut bits of with scissors myself tells me that they arnt very strong or durable and definitely not upto standards to be given to dogs. I am writing this review in hope that this never has to happen to another dog again! I wouldn't wish this on Anyone! Please think before you buy anything for your dog!Without fail, all four of our Great Dane puppies have loved and teethed on these Nylabone puppy bones. They are priceless for preventing inappropriate chewing of furniture, cushions, beds, jewellery cases, etc. As long as you don't keep anything you value in the path of your puppy and provide ample chewing, ie this bone, then your house will not be destroyed by your Giant breed puppy - I imagine the appropriate size also works well with large, medium and small breeds too.At about 4-6 months our Danes are chewing through them too quickly so we move up to the next level bone, normally a hard rubber one but we will continue to buy these for our pups (alas Giant breeds do not have immense longevity so we tend to have more puppies than other breed sizes). The pieces that are bitten off are rice small and 'pass through' without concern and although we do not leave them in crates with pups overnight, they are well worth their weight in gold for chewing training (releases endorphins - hence relaxation) and life long good habits with stronger chew toys, eg buffalo horns, antlers, marrowbone toys. This product is on our list of automatic - 'buy for the puppy' list.Started out well...puppy really interested in this chew and clearly got comfort during teething. As a small cockapoo, the size was perfect, however a month or so in, we spotted bits missing from the 'key' part (see photo, esp red key!). Having not noticed any of these chewed off bits of plastic around the house, we can only assume the puppy has swallowed them, which can't be good! Which I'd spotted the negative comments from those who had similar experiences. Returning for refund.
