I've noticed my buns are bigger fans of these types of toys, and they loved this one. Not much else to say.I was using these for a craft project so I didn't feel the need to return them. 2 of them looked in great condition, but the third one had a black mold/dirt all over it.My bunnies will typically rip this ball apart in about a week and really enjoy chewing on the willow. These balls are the best for guinea pigs or similar small animals, they will have fun chewing them. They will absolutely destroy them but that's what they're for. I've found that guinea pigs prefer the toys made out of sticks/branches like these or the ones made out of hay. You can stuff hay inside them too to make it even more interesting for them.My pigs give this a 5 star hands down. I have 6 girls and 2 boys. The girls are thrilled when I give these to them. I clean their cage twice a week and with each cleaning involves placing 2 new ones in the cage with them. Believe me they make short work of them and the 2 are gone within a 2 days. They have so much fun with these between the chewing that needs to be encouraged to keep their teeth down, since they are constantly growing, and rolling them around the cage which is a treat to watch. I have a lot of toys for them between grass tunnels and balls, wooden chew barrel plus constant supply of pellets and timothy hay on top of daily fresh veggies. I am not sure what it is with this simple branch ball, but it is worth it for them as much as they enjoy it. Being that I only have 2 boys, this can last a week or 2 as they tend to prefer the grass and wooden toys more. Toys are tough with piggies and very hit or miss. I suggest giving it a try because the price is right and with 8 pigs approval. I can't say enough about them.If my review helped you, please click the helpful button. Or comment if I can answer any other questions <3Well, I only love it because HRH Miss Penelope Piggie adores it. She also has the Ware willow tunnels, one of which is looking somewhat structurally unsound. I thought she might be interested in pushing it as a ball, but it seems more of a deconstruction project for her. Guinea pig's teeth constantly grow so they must be worn down with hard things to chew on. Our vet said he has never treated a guinea pig for being poked by the willow (I was concerned about the tunnel pieces sticking out) but that it is quite traumatic for piggie and owner to have the teeth ground down. If they overgrow they can not eat properly. For piggies, it is all about keeping that digestive tract moving. This is a good toy for her to keep her from chewing on our table during her floor time, but we sometimes put it into her housing area, also. This is an item I will continue to buy over the years as she shows continued interest in it.Since Penelope demolished the first one I ordered two more-- only to find they are inconsistent in quality. One unraveled within days. Since that happened she does not as interested in them as she did initially. She really like eating on her willow tunnel and other apple wood sticks. The ball came cracked and a little smashed but it was still somewhat spherical. The guinea pigs ABSOLUTELY LOVED It... within four hours it was completely torn apart. All the pieces were a mess all over the cage and I kept collecting the pieces and putting it in a bowl. Day after day, they kept going back to it, scattering it over the cage, eating pieces in to smaller and smaller twigs. They REALLY ENJOYED the treat... the only thing is that it lasted about four days. Not sure if I will buy again because that's a pretty expensive treat for only 4 days worth of fun. That said, if you aren't on my budget, this is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! :)My rabbit loves to chew so this toy is perfect! one issue, my rabbit chews up and destroys that toy in a matter of minutes. it gets pricey ordering packs of them to give to him. So what i do is i give him one every other day. If you have a rabbit that likes to chew, order one first see if your bunny likes it and then buy more if it does.Perfect for requirements. My rabbits love chewing on this willow ball.my ball came crushed and broken so i submitted a return, just got the replacement today and its squished almost flat, but not as broken like the last one. The product itself when its packaged properly is excellent but the envelopes they are shipped in dont protect them and they break very easily. im not bothering to send this one back cause my rabbit will still have fun with it but i wont continue to order them through amazon and will buy from my local pet shop instead to ensure it doesnt get damaged in transport.Bought this for my Chinchilla, and she absolutely loved it. She loves these chew balls, but I normally buy smaller ones, but bought this bigger one to try. She absolutely loved it, and began working at it right away. She did not stop until it was reduced to nothing. However, while it lasted longer than the smaller ones, it was not by much. But we are talking wood vs a Chinchilla, and they can reduce this stop down pretty quickly. So did not deduct a star for it. At the very least, I 100% recommend this for your small pet...it is worth a try at least once, and I can almost guarantee your hamster/guinea pig/chinchilla will love it.This toy gets a five star as my rabbit is willing to play with it. She will roll it under her belly, grab it with her mouth and fling it, and she will bite off pieces to chew. It smells kind of bad to me but I guess that's irrelevant. I will prob have to repurchase this ball once every month since it will be fully consumed within the month.
