This is Oscar's second pig friend , Porky Snr. was with us for just a short time but he had a very active squealing life .He eventually lost the will to carry on and went to the Big Bacon Sandwich in the sky.Porky Jnr. seems to be heading the same way at high speed.We ( Oscar ) have had a wide selection of these Petface dog toys . A healthy selection offruit , vegetables and various mammals - all the same , great fun , screams of delight but all suffered an early demise.Can Petface please produce an indestructible super hero dog toy - Super Brick or Iron Bone .I can't carry on like this for much longer , this is Owner Abuse !26.06.21RIP PorkyFirstly, I bought this under the impression that it would oink like a pig, as per the description "Petface Latex Oink Pig provides an alternative to squeaky Dog Toys, instead pig noises from a sound box are activated in this light rubber toy.", but instead I was very disappointed to hear the common or garden variety squeak.Secondly, and more alarmingly, the toy is filled with very, very fine stuffing. After a few minutes of chewing the toy, I looked down at my 7 month old pup to see how much damaged she had caused and was horrified to see her pulling out stuffing!! I would expect this from a plush toy, but not a squeaky latex toy. The label for the toy does not give any indicate of the stuffing inside, only that it may contain small parts the could represent a choking hazard. I dread to think what damaged she could have caused had she swallowed any of the stuffing, as we all know puppies try to eat everything. Needless to say, it has now gone straight in the bin.I bought this as a straight replacement. I got my dog one for when I first adopted him 18 months ago, it’s been a firm favourite all that time. It got a hole in it and so I decided to get a replacement before it died completely and swap it in.He knows. He knows that it is a new one, it doesn’t have his dog slobber on it, it isn’t dirty from being dragged into the garden and it doesn’t have a slight tear in it so the squeak is ever so slightly different. Therefore, he is suspicious of it.He dances around it like it is the devil.Hope he gets used to it soon as I’ve thrown the old one away.Ordered another two pigs in November 2018. The first pig was made of much thicker latex and lasted nine months. The second one was made from much thinner latex and lasted one week before it was torn apart. Amazon seem to be using two different manufacturers, the heavier pigs are brilliant but the lighter ones are useless.I bought this toy (along with loads of other) as a Christmas present for my dog but didn’t realise I’d left it on a high shelf in the wardrobe. Found it yesterday after my dog just sat there in front of the wardrobe looking up lol. He went mental for it when I removed the packaging but it didn’t take long for the stuffing to start coming out of the tail end where my boy had managed to chew the tail off. Okay so I removed the stuffing and then the squeaker fell out. Despite this my dog will not put it down, he absolutely loves it and won’t even come for food because he’s too busy playing with the pig. Last night he wouldn’t leave the pig alone so I had to hide it. Needles to say he’s not slept wondering where his favourite toy had gone and I didn’t sleep because he was so restless. All day so far he’s not left the pig alone and finally after much running around and chasing it he’s fallen asleep....with his little pig.Overall not very well made, dangerous with stuffing and squeaker coming out but great fun for my boy who has made it his favourite toy.
