I have a thing about octopuses, and this item made it's way into my collection of cephalopod iconography.Be kind to our cephalopod friends: DO NOT EAT THEM OR THEIR CALIMARI COUSINS! You might as well be eating puppies or babies.I purchased this little guy to be used as a prop in my book photos for my bookish Instagram account. He’s kinda cute and, to me, unscary. He seems durable and pliable. He will be a perfect tub toy for my two year old grandson, on the condition that I can borrow him for another photo shoot if needed. Oh, by the way, his name is OscarVery cool figure,my only complaint is eyes should be biggerGot this for my daughter who loves this octopus! He/she is the cutest little creature and so glad I got for my daughter.. first thing she did was post a photo to her snapchat!We are going through the alphabet and getting as many as Schleich animals as we can. For O, i chose octopus rather than orangutan because it works better for phonics. I’ll be photographing the nimals in a lightbox and printing out cards to laminate.My kids all fight over this octopus in the bath because it is so unique! The color is deep and rich, and it has the coolest texture all over it. It is so lifelike, it looks like it might swim away at any moment! We have slowly been collecting Schleich toys over the years and this is definitely one of our favorites.This is going to work perfectly in my new aquarium! It looks incredible!
