It had been awhile since I bought a Lego and I was feeling nostalgic, plus Amazon had lowered the price just enough for me to feel comfortable purchasing it. Obviously SW1 was a flop but my younger self did not know any better and enjoyed it. I did not think the design of the AAT was that bad either.What can I say, the son really loved constructing the set. It was missing a piece but like other Lego products we contacted Lego through the phone number and spoke to a representative and they assured us that the missing part would come from over seas in 7-10 days and it arrived with time to spare. Son waited a bit and then when the part come in he attacked! He loved it like all of his others.A nice, compact, and fairly accurate version of the in-movie vehicle. Could use some printed/sticker detail on the front though. It’s a little plain.When you have a young boy, there is not much choice except to purchase Legos. Excellent quality, but I would think that Erector sets or Meccano sets would be better, if they still made them.The LEGO AAT is a great set! You should buy one for your kid today! I am a huge seprotist and trade federation fan. The only complaint I have is the missels don’t always work.7-year-old says: I like it because it has a lot of guns and can shoot real plastic lasers (sometimes that doesn't always happen in other lego sets). I wish it were a little harder to construct because it was kind of easy.I love this lego set it is one of my favorite ones. It is awesome I recommend this lego set.I bought it as a gift that has not yet been given so I am unable to make a comment. However it looks just like the one in the store.Can’t go wrong with LEGO Star WarsIts lego, its starwars, whats not to love?!ExcellentLoved it.Great AAT
