Bought this " gaudy " appropriately named toy, lol for my miniature Dachshunds 3rd Birthday , she destroyed this in less time than it took for the kettle to boil for a coffee . Not tough nor duarable , However needless to say for the seconds that she ragged this ugly little pheasant to its death im sure she enjoyed every 3 whole seconds of destroying it, happy Dachshund just wish she could of enjoyed it for at least one day instead of flash in a pan moment , she was very proud of her work though , you just have to laugh .Bought this after my sister has had the same toy for her dog for a couple of years now and it's still in perfect condition despite hundreds of hours of playtime with it. The one I received seems to be the same high quality and I expect it to last just as long. I love the canvas material too as, unlike the softer material dog toys that get saturated with drool after a couple of minutes, this doesn't have that issue. Like any dog toy, it's not completely indestructible but you'd be hard-pressed to find a 'soft' toy that fits closer to that description than this.The product looks nice and colourful but lasted maybe 5 minutes with my 9 month old puppy before she managed to rip a hole in the beak. I think potentially the body is a bit more durable as it's a canvas type material but the beak is a weak point and so isn't durable or toughIt’s a lovely toy, big and lots of textures. Just a little bit disappointed in the finish of the product (see photo). Dog loves it, it’s firm and the squeak is good where it’s not too easy to squeak.Shame really.Has lasted a good few weeks which has surprises me hit as a birthday present and assumed she would destroy it but she loves and carries it around yes it’s a bit chewed but one happy dog and that’s what counts
