This film does a lot of really good things. After two previous films involving Andy's room we know most of the toys and they there is a fixed flow of how many new toys come in via birthday parties and Christmas. They get around this by taking us to the daycare where we are introduced to an entirely new ecosystem aside from Andy's room. Without spoiling anything - the daycare is awesome, John Goodman as the giant pink teddy bear is one of the best casting decisions of the decade for sure. Every scene he's in is awesome.Because the daycare is so large, they are able to introduce a LOT of new toys without it feeling forced. Naturally there would be a ton of toys in a daycare to accomodate such a large volume of kids. There are a lot of classics from numerous generations here and it's great to see such a huge cast.In addition to this they also introduce a new kid and she is also awesome!
